Creating “Welcome Boxes” For The Homeless Teens At The Miami Bridge!

Miami Bridge is a wonderful local organization that houses homeless teens. The Zambrano’s organized a collection through their “Island Angels” to gather all the items needed when a new teen arrives at the shelter. They ended up completing 25 boxes that included all bathroom items (shampoo/conditioner, toothpaste/brush/mouthwash, chapstick, deodorant, brush/comb, body soap, etc) and 25 larger boxes which included new t-shirts, socks, a book, new sheets and a yummy blanket. It was a really fun project, and their daughter and her friends enjoyed filling the boxes with all of the goodies and delivering them/touring the shelter!
