Setting up a Free Bazaar for Syrian Refuge Families
When Amy found out that there were many Syrian refugee families recently relocated to South Florida, she called on volunteers from all over the city to provide donations for these families to shop through. Many families showed up and were thrilled to “shop” through thousands of donations of clothing, kitchen goods, linens, baby items and toys. They were very gracious and grateful and it was a wonderful opportunity to welcome them to our country and help them through a very difficult time.
